My first of this type,
Early in the morning
The thought is quite ripe.
My first poem of this type.
I can’t say it’s my favorite,
The thought is still ripe,
I will not savor it.
I can’t say it’s my favorite;
This assignment,
I definitely won’t favor it-
Not in this confinement.
This is a warning:
This assignment
Not favored in this confinement,
Especially in the early morning.
