I come from a place where the air is polluted.

I come from a place where common sense is muted.

I come from a place where there’s no meaning to life.

I come from a place where a wealthy man cannot find a wife.

I come from a place where everyone’s mind is focused on money.

I come from a place where children are mistreated and boney.

I come from a place where teens focus on social networks.
I come from a place where we don’t focus on real artwork.

I come from a place where creatures are neglected.
I come from a place where saving a species is rejected.

I come from a place where an African American man was elected.
I come from a place where my life doesn’t seem protected.

I come from a place where there is no loving.
I come from a place where this poem is just nothing.

Very powerful poem with many unique phrases. One of my favorites: "common sense is muted". But one thing I can say is that I come from a place where this poem is REALLY SOMETHING! Keep on writing! I look forward to reading more.
