Journeyed
They say the top is a wonderful place
With a great view with plenty of space
They say the bottom need be erased
For there are those who wish to escape
So as we peer from where we are
And the outcome seems so far
We wait and wait
Only to take the bait
Never looking at our place
Always looking for the chase
Not bothering to pace
As if in a race
But from what is said and what is told
It seems to all be fool’s gold
Because the top remains cold
And the outcome still need unfold
Shrouded by a lie
The truth seems to pass by
And reality begins to fly
Although the wonder still remains
In the journey
