Is right around the corner.
It hurts,
Thinking about spending
That day without you.
You claim
To not like me
Like that.
So why do you flirt?
Why?
I've tried to just
Be your friend.
But it's wearing me out.
All the pretending.

I love you,
Yet you chose to play these games.
We could have
Something real.
