Confused Love Potion

I have no idea about this,
It's all new to me,
Something I've never experienced,
The way I feel about thee.

Confusion misleading one of the two,
All I know is I'm scared,
Scared to mess up,
But they say we're perfectly paired.

I don't want to go to quickly,
Or have it feel like slow motion,
It just feels like someone slipped me,
a confused love potion.
