For all the things I've said,
I'd be lying through my teeth,
I'd be lying through your head.
Because I'm not sorry for loving you,
And all the things I've done,
This world is cold and miserable,
Quitters pick up their things and run.
Don't run from me,
Don't be afraid,
Of my scars and wounds,
Of my terrible shade.
Don't be discouraged,
Don't let this die now,
My love won't fade,
My feelings will never die down.
