Unknown Darkness

Spoken whispers lost in a black pit
Of silent words where I sit
In an unknown dark place on my own
With nothing to guide me but lightning alone

Free me from this place of broken joy
Of hidden emotion and unfelt tears
Without understanding or love to bear
Take me away from this place of fears

Without knowing an escape
Or a word to explain
I travel this endless darkness
In search of an answer
To get away from the place within my mind
That hides my darkest secrets, desires, and greatest fears.
