I always thought "what's beauty worth?"
But then you told me I was the most beautiful girl you had ever seen.
Who knew my beauty was worth having you?
Filled with excitement the only thing that ran through my mind was "who knows what the future holds?"
All I knew was that I loved you more than anything.
But I didn't know the dog behind your lies.
You were only here for a limited time.

My inspiration was my own personal experience of heartbreak. I hope people will be able to relate to the situation presented in the poem.
