i do not care about looks
or money
or luck
i care about love
i care that he thinks of me
and smiles while he does so
i care if he watches me
and notes how i move
i care if he ponders about me
and wonders if i ponder about him
i care if he wishes for me to speak to him
and hear my voice ramble on
i care if he dreams of me
and any possible future of us together
i care if he cares
about me caring about him
i care about love
and if he feels it
