I picked up the phone
Hoping for good news.
I am to young to die.
I have an amazing family
The best of friends.
I can't die
I refuse to die.
I will beat this
I took my mom
It took my grandma
But it won't take me
I can't die
I refuse to die
I can beat this
I will beat this
I'm going to make it

The author's comments:
This piece is inspired by Mia Hill, my friends little sister. Her Mom, and Grandma have both died from cancer, but she still stays on the positive side and refuses to believe that she might die. she is my inspiration :)
