Disaster growing
Imminent doom
People are dying
What should they do?
Nothing had happened
The skies were all clear
But people were screaming
"Doomsday!"
"It is here!"
Though I'm not sure why
They scrambled about
In fervent terror
No evidence
Nor occurrence
to explain this predicament
Though nevertheless
They ran
and they cried
"The end of a calendar
sentences us to die?"
The beginning of the end
No
We can't be quite sure
If 2012
is truly the end of us all
