Beneath the Blue
I’m trapped underwater, looking up at you
Looking into those eyes of that same color blue
And just like the water, the eyes hypnotize me
They make it hard for me to believe
That everything you said was true, and not a lie
Because you never once told me
You wanted me to die
And now I look up at you, while you hold me down
You say “I love you” as you’re watching me drown
There’s no use fighting what’s lying ahead
So I quickly mouth “I love you”
My last words to you before I’m dead
