Some moments,
Those that get left behind,
Stay still and frozen,
Suspended in time.

They stay there,
Appearing so perfectly,
Out of the reach of,
The claws of reality.

Not all things are immortal though,
Moments that die,
And are torn apart,
In the blink of an eye.

Due to hate
And misconception.
Things that weren’t meant to be said,
And things that shouldn’t have been done.

They cloud the future,
And make the past bleed.
Some we confront,
While others we’d rather not heed.

The unchangeable stay unchanged,
While the healable begin to mend,
But it’s all up to us,
What happens in the end.
