The bluebird flies with bluebirds,
And not with the swallow.
In the trees, the bluebird nestles pine,
Straw and woven grass,
In the mud, the swallow sinks in sludge,
Drowns in sodden earth.
The bluebird flies with bluebirds,
And not with the swallow.
