You and Me are Pretty Much Bad
It's a world of grey when we talk
Not so much bad
Not so much good
Actually, not so much good at all
You send me a quote and my eyes
burst into color as the words slink their
ways off screen *Stupid words* First juvenile thought
that barges into my mind but it's
true; the words, they can't mean what they do because they shouldn't Not to you
not to you
When we sit in silence it's a world of grey
Not so much bad
Not so much good
Actually, not so much good at all
The silence a void a chasm that *I*
should be able to fill with words this hole
between us What if I missed that combination
that will make you want to stay
living, on Earth, here, there, wherever as long
as you just stay but
what if the words are wrong what if
they're malicious horrid
nightmarish words that I can't tell are abominations
What would I do without you
We inhabit this world of grey
Not so much good
Not so much bad
But really
It is
It is pretty much bad.
