I am not alone when I am lonely
I’m standing in a crowded room
But no one hears me
No one sees me
No one really cares

I am not crying when I shed tears
For I only let go inside myself
So no one hears me
No one sees me
And no one really cares

I am not happy when I smile
But I try hard to make it so
So no hears the pain inside
And no one sees the torment
It’s not like they would care

When I can’t touch the stars
It’s not for lack of trying
It’s just that no one hears me
No one sees me
No one really cares
