The Sky Wants to be Blue

Today I watch
The clouds battle the sun
A war in the sky
A fight never won
An experienced shared
In my own haunted dreams
A battle with myself
For the chance to be seen
It is always clear to me
Why She hides behind the rain
Because both our confidences
Are married to Pain
So I can understand
Why the Sky wants to be blue
She wants to be seen by us
Like I want to be seen by you
