Flowers bloom

Opening like the door of a friend

Kind

Peaceful

Welcoming.

Drinkng in the warm sunlight,

Growing,

Streaching,

Reaching for the sun,

Hoping.

But then comes the dark frost of winter,

Freezing,

Chilling,

Killing.
