Cupid’s Aim
High above on a cloud
Clever cupid spies.
Finding a lonely girl’s heart that wishes to beat
She weeps of a lack of love.
With pity he takes an arrow
Aims it and lets it go
His eyes narrow
A sign of concentration
Focusing on his target
The wind guides the weapon
The arrow peirces her flesh violently
It travels to her heart
The hole in her chest only visible to cupids eyes
