Love is anterior to life, posterior to death, initial of creation, and the exponent of breath.
-Emily Dickinson

So much pain
In my life
The hatred
and seclusion
Surrounding
Cloying
like thick fog

With every
attempt
to eliminate
the pain
growing and
eating me
everyday
I only ever
find more

I’ll pour out
my crimson
regret and betrayal
down the
drain
Pray for
Sweet salvation

Lies and poisons
in the air
No way to heal
the wounds
so quickly
Pray not to be
Seen
for a god
to return to
my Side

Move
regret
and pain to
come and fade
Move to take
from the isolation
No way out
of the neverending
Cycle of
crimson pain
