Out along a forest path
Sits a bright green patch of grass
Strong and stiff, it holds the ground
As if saying "I won't fall down!"
Autumn came one October day
The patch of grass still kept a greenish shade
Winter came with winds of death and freeze
The grass would still not admit defeat
Until water froze over the barren trees
Did the grass turn brown and drop, deceased
One spring day, on the same dry patch
Popped out a single blade of grass
All trouble had passed
Now listen to this and take it to heart
Remember, even the strongest fall apart

Most of my writings, including this one, was writen while my mind was wondering off in class. A close friend of mine was going through a hard time and I wrote this for her to remember it's okay to cry, but that everything will always turn out, no matter how awful the situation is.
If a single blade of grass can survive the harsh half of the year, so can you survive the toughest times in your life.
