All he wanted.
For once in his life,
Was to be seen.

He didn’t care who saw him,
He didn’t care if they only acknowledged him once,
All he wanted was to be noticed.

All his life he had been unloved,
No one had ever cared for him,
No one had ever even spoken to him.

Everyone else around him,
Had been told secrets galore,
Even being yelled at like some others,
He thought would be better than being ignored.

He felt invisible,
Every time someone passed him,
Not once was his feeling of being deserted banished.

He had no one name,
No form of ID,
He couldn’t even convince himself,
That he wasn’t invisible.

All he wanted,
For once in his life,
Was to be seen,
As locker number four hundred and fifty-eight.
