That's where I lie
Begging for your attention,
When you finally look
You laugh
or
Call me names,
Your shadow is over me
It makes me seem so small
and
Unimportant,
You have more than me
But
I need to believe
That you are not more than me
I need to believe that
I am not
In the shadows...
