Crashing around me, these shards of glass fall. Threatening to smite me, to where it threatens it all. The tears I cry are no more visible than a marble through a frying pan. The more I try to escape this nightmare of pain, the more and more, it comes crashing down again. It’s so hard to hold on to something I lost so long ago, with nothing left and him gone, I don’t have very far left to go. With hardships near, and pain a companion, I make my way down the beaten cracked asphalt road. If this is it, if this is the end, then I never want to do this again.
