I remember
Being an ant
Living in a world
Much too big
For an ant like me

I build and supply
A home for
Others like me
Defending from
Wasps, ticks, and beetles

Being able to lift
Up to eight times
My weight makes
It easy to remember
How I was strong

The winter is here
But…
I can’t forget
The blame I held against you
Which made me a stronger ant
