October 21st
Tiny flames
lighting the street
remembering those lost
on that one night.
Accidents happen,
but people never forget
memories shared
on this night
of silence.
Two years later
we still remember
as if it was yesterday.
That cold October night
everything happened suddenly,
the whole world
fell quiet
and all went black.
Tonight,
honor the lives.
Taken from us
so violently
so young,
and naïve.
