Shattered
A painful reality where I am forced to dwell,
Rude words and actions make it my personal hell,
Abandon my sanity,
Free myself from their vanity,
A chorus of screams,
Delightful cries,
And I smile.
My tormentors destroyed,
Now I am annoyed,
The voices begin to tickle,
Madness began in a trickle from a drop,
Now I can't stop,
My mind has become a river, a mirror,
The opposite of clear,
A whisper in my ear,
The end is now near.
The demons in blue are here,
A scream drenched in madness,
With a glimmer of gladness,
Made dimmer by sadness,
Of a useless life now lost.
My life's blood runs red,
The demons claim my head,
Now for once and for all I am dead,
And I smile.
