They only hang on the small thread
never knowing when they will drop dead
many different shapes and colors
its hard to tell one from another
the season brings a great joy
a family meal for the girls and boys
handfuls of candy are eaten with ease
all the children saying "trick or treat"please
why is autumn such a beautiful season
its my favorite time without any reason
i never want my time in the leaves to end
its also time to dress up and play pretend
many different emotions arise during this time
im glad its all mine!
