Had a Dream

i had a dream
the other night
that you came home

we sat and talked
the way we used to
and i was happy

your face was so clear
i hadn't seen it in so long
and i remember your smile

you told me you'd missed me

i woke and was dissapointed
you were gone
an ocean away again

but i was glad i got to see you
but next time ill keep sleeping
to keep you with me'if only in my dreams
