That night by the birch bark tree
I listened to the haunting yet graceful sound of silence
As my life passed by like a gentle day’s breeze
Slowly but surely losing time, growing ever content

I listened to the haunting yet graceful sounds of silence
While the subtle sonance of the world crept,
I slowly kept losing time, growing ever content
Scarcely making time for thought

While the subtle sonance of the world crept,
Nature creates the most astounding beauty
Scarcely making time for thought
I lose myself in nature’s rapture.

As my life passed by like a gentle day’s breeze,
I realize nature’s astounding beauty.
That night by the birch bark tree
I lost myself in nature’s rapture.
