"A diamond with a flaw is worth more than a pebble without imperfections"

With a background panorama
Of autumn trees
I wrung at my gloves
And breathed in the breeze

I glimpsed your small smile
And pulled at my clothes
Afraid to look up
Still acting composed

Children skipped stones
Across the open stream
Off to our right
All as it seemed

Until you stepped forward
And caught hold of my hand
With my heart in my mouth
And my mouth full of sand

You laughed at my silence
And I grinned at your grin
And the ice simply shattered
Your hand touched my chin

Slowly you moved
My hands clenched
My spine tingled
My back tensed

In the cold of winter
In that moment of bliss
During the snowfall
We shared our first kiss

This cute scene just came to me while I was out walking in autumn. I hope it captures the colour and people as well as I can imagine them.
