but
it wasn't.
Goodbye
would imply
that you
leaving
was good.
It would imply
that when
you left me
you hadn't
torn me
apart.
It would imply
that what you
didn't do
was as cruel
as what
you did.
You said
goodbye
but
it wasn't.
That's because
goodbyes,
are good.
And you weren't.
And goodbyes
are not
supposed
to hurt.
