Losing It

One second it was there
And the next it was gone
There were no fireworks
No candles and no big romance
No bed covered in roses
Just a backseat covered in car grease
No amazing time
Just awkward teens
No happily ever after
Just heartbreak never fully healed
Amazing something so big can be gone
In the blink of an eye
Or with a gust of wind
Just a memory in the past
