Favorite Quote:
Prayers go up and blessings come down.

He stares at her and puts out his hand
She smiles quaintly and grabs it on demand
He walks her outside and leads the way
She follows and anticipates the words he will say
He tells her “I love you,” and everything feels right
She says it back and a spark inside her ignites
He gets his car and opens up her door
She gets in and they go off to explore
He glances at her and smiles at her sight
She looks outside and sails into the night

He looks back and focuses on the rearview mirror
Everything in the dark just got clearer
Even at the distance of love and fate
There are still some things that need to dissipate
Like the other girl he met a few weeks before
Who came down knocking on loves handy door
And although he loved her more at the end of the day
He made the choice that he wasn’t going to stay
Because with the distance between them he let unfurl
I will always just be the other girl.
