Yesterday's history, and tomorrow's a mystery, but today is a gift - and that is why it's called 'the present'

Freedom Failure
Truthful mirrors show I be,
My hollow eyes ever so empty,
And though I can see myself Fall,
I know I will have Lost it all.
And I will be Happy.
~
We Gain in order to Lose,
We Live solely to Snooze.
Atop a cliff, this Cycle does End,
A broken body, heart, and soul Mend.
And I will be Happy.
~
I am mended, given Release,
All anxiety, doubt, and concern cease.
When I leave the Future and then the Past,
My Presence goes to Rest at last.
And I Am Happy.
