please smile for me
Little puppet
dance
Little puppet
with tangled strings
Little puppet
with no chance
Little puppet
and gleaming eyes
Little puppet
and painted lips
Little puppet
the tears will dry
Little puppet
the wood will split
Little puppet
lie a song
Little puppet
hear the cheers
a Little puppet
all along
a Little puppet
bound by fear

I came up with the title before the actual poem, for once. The feel of the poem comes from observing some of my friends' interactions.
