Summer's Wings
As the leaves start falling
Turning to reds, browns and golds
I miss the warmth of summer
When the water wasn’t freezing cold
I long for the greens and deep blues
As winter quickly approaches
When love still remained true
Give me the freedom to fly
And catch me when I fall.
With you, no more will I cry
Watch as I spread my wings.
Take my hand as I soar
Listen to my voice as I sing
We will fight for what we are
Some things will never end
Watch as our wings take us far
Love me, protect me, hug me, kiss me
We will never end
Forever we will be free
Come with me, take my hand
Forever in love
I will listen to your every command.
