The Sands of Time,
They drain my eyes,
I wish you were here,
Make this pain disappear

The Sands of Time,
They drain my life,
Can't take you off my mind,
Make my love reappear

The Sands of Time,
Fear chooses me,
How long will it be,
Until I lose all Sanity?

The Sands of Time,
Are falling fast,
Almost gone,
My love will Last

The author's comments:
Mainly about waiting and being patient for that special person, waiting for when the time comes for when you can finally be with that person.
