Anguish

The anguished man,
Walks alone,
On the bridge,
And opens his mouth to scream,
He’s the color of crying

The anguished man,
Repents alone,
On the bridge,
And clasps his hands to his face,
While the sky is the color of anger

The anguished man,
Ponders his past,
Alone on the bridge,
And widens his eyes to grasp meaning,
While the ocean is the color of knowing

The anguished man,
Covers his ears,
Alone on the bridge,
To escape taunts from the demons,
That chase him,
While all hues melt into the color of forgiveness
