We Are The Same

We see green, blue, and brown-
Our smiles are upside down-
We do not see eye to eye-
Nor are we face to face-
For once we are in the same place-
You become a criminal's fear-
When I shed a tear-
Therefore we are the same person-

The author's comments:
This poem came to me when I was very sad at the moment of my grandmother in the hospital. I wrote most of my poems to keep her in her strength to come out and be healthy once again.
