My feet kiss the earth
Heartbeat of the land
Her pulse sings around me
Song of my soul

My heart beats a dance
Of spirit never sleeping
Of darkness never waking
Deep the mountain’s heart

My breath weds the wind
A winding of the ether
Stirring of the soul
To calm the spirit’s tide

My eyes meet the sky
The never-ending stars
An everlasting mantle
To wrap the world around

Thunder sounds above
A mighty mountain falling
A sleeping spirit waking
The sky’s tears fall

I step into the night
Heartbeat of the land
My feet swift, unerring
Steady on the path

My soul fills its void
I hear a truth cry out
My mind speaks in silence
A revelation within

I see the patterns dance
Sunlight, Moon, and shadow
The wheel around me turns
There and back again
