Hate is like a person,
It's own person walking free,
It's fed, It rests, It hides behind a curtain
During hide and seek.
If you ask it on a date,
It'll definitely say yes,
If you ask about the states,
It'll definitely guess.
Hate is like a person,
A person walking free,
Hate is like a person,
Walking inside me.

The author's comments:
When I wrote this, I was in a depression. I didn't like anyone or anything and I was mean and I thought bad things. I'm not sure why.

Thanks!  This is a poem I read over a lot and I try to get out of it.  Most of the time it works.

This is a good poem, and I know what you mean about the depression thing... I've had a couple of times where I've been like that, too. Think maybe you could check out my stuff sometime?
