You're Nothing

Your life is a broken guitar,
each string strummed brutally by monsters.
Like Hendrix’s guitar,
your world is turned upside-down.
The music rushes through your veins
like scorching incandescent lava
rapidly accelerating down the steepest volcano.
You’re nothing compared to those gruesome demons,
just another innocent victim.

Their dauntless eyes pierce through you,
the sharpest needle points, striking the thinnest cloth.
Their pointy claws clash into your vulnerable skin,
drawing ruby red blood
full of rage and enmity.
You’re nothing compared to those gruesome demons,
just another innocent victim.

Being a drizzle,
their hurricane hammers your precious island
full of sunshine and exhilaration,
turning it into Satan’s death chamber.
Lightning bolts into you heart,
burning it in a blazing flame,
until it turns to ash.
You’re nothing compared to those gruesome demons,
just another innocent victim.

They’re the mischievous Ewells,
while you have no Atticus to protect you from them.
They have you under the most treacherous paranoia,
a rare disease,
worse than the plague of black death.
Evil execration erupts every piece of content in your body
leaving nothing but anguish, distress, and adversity.
You’re nothing compared to those gruesome demons,
just another innocent victim.

You sprint from trouble,
but trouble sprints to you.
You call for mercy,
but mercy doesn’t exist here.
‘Oh comfort, please come to me. Get me out of this misery,’
you shriek but nothing comes out.
Only a faint whisper.
RUN! RUN! RUN!
But your feet are planted in the middle of the asphalt,
waiting for a car to collide into your meagerly fragile body.
You’re nothing compared to those gruesome demons,
just another innocent victim.

Its only a demolished soul,
a shattered life. Only your heart crashes,
and your mind too.
Its over. Your done.
Your nothing compared to those gruesome demons,
just another innocent victim.

So tell me,
what is it like to live as a pebble out of a million diamonds?
A goldfish in a pool of sharks?
What is it like
to live as a broken guitar?
