Slowly, quietly night falls.
Twinkling stars winkle from the sky,
As a crescent moon glimmers above.
Soon sleep soothes uneasy souls.
Like oil on a canvas, dreams run like paint.
A dark, dim mountain guards the dreamers
As it overlooks their town.
