i know what happens to people like me.
they're happy.
they're soft.
they're carefree.
they're just full of others life.
then something shuts off.
like a magical switch.
it can either be slightly pushed down or it can be punched.
my switch had been smashed by everyone for about three years now.
these things consume my good thoughts and my better judgement.
i understand what i am supposed to do is not considered important by the human beings im surrounded by.
i start to believe their hopeless thoughts.
they become me.

i know what happens to people like me.
they have many friends.
they have good grades.
they have dinner with their family every night.
then something closes out the world.
like a blindfold.
it can be a beautiful mask or a hideous cover of something gorgeous deep down.
my world has been closed out for fifteen years.
these things consume my good thoughts and better judgement.
i understand my individuality is not considered important to the human beings im surrounded by.
i start to follow their trends.
they become me.

until i couldn't even define myself in that category anymore.
