Acorns
Beautiful acorns
Wonderful acorns
I love you
Why does no one else love you?
Since I love you it shouldn’t matter
But I still wonder
People step on you and trample you like a bug
I pick you up
For you are my darling
I study you with awe
They throw you around
Once you have been tortured I grab you and we run away together
Together
Forever
You come in different sizes, colors and shapes
What makes you all the more extraordinary
I wish I could save you
My darling
I love you
