i'm going to live on my own
drive my own car
buy my own toilet paper
lock the door behind me
not tell anyone where i'm going
i'm going to grow up
so every person looks like
their own lonely planet
i'm going to manage my money
and keep a job
laugh often
listen to trip hop
and watch cartoons on mute
i'm going to have notches on my bed post
and ticket stubs in my drawer
looking back from some far away
peak of time
at the notebooks and moments
satisfaction from a life
well-lived
