In a second she was gone
The girl who once stood tall and strong
The girl who once thrived on life
Slowly began to die in strife
Each word she heard hurt her more
Until death held open a welcoming door
Her friends all said they should have known
Who knew she felt so alone?
But in a second she was gone
The girl who once stood tall and strong
