No one truly knows me
No one truly sees me
I am locked away
Hidden behind closed lips
I am a secret
Few people see me
Few people know me
But it isn’t always true
I become distorted
And changed
As they open their mouths
And speak my name
I am a secret
Locked in a box
Hidden behind closed lips
Wanting to be free
I am a secret
People may see me smile
But it happens rarely
Because I am a secret
