Something happened,

Something I did not foresee

I feel the pressure as the crushing

Slowly begins to take hold of me.

I wonder what it feels like to die.

No time to pray

But I’ve never wished for a God more,

Eyelashes laced tight in desperate attempt

To shield me from life and death’s war.

I wonder what it feels like to die.

The author's comments:
I was in a car accident and I was on the side of impact. I did not realize what was happening until the car hit into us.
